A dealing room that takes attendance

Teach on a terminal that cannot place a real order

Your students practise on the same options terminal a solo trader uses — live NSE data, real gates, simulated fills. You get the half a terminal never had: who is enrolled, who was invited, how many seats that leaves, and which four of them have not opened it since Tuesday.

The model

Three things to know before you plan a course around it.

Stated up front rather than discovered in week one. Two of them will rule this out for some schools, and that is the point of putting them here.

01The engine

Paper only. There is no live-order path.

Not a safe mode bolted onto a live trading engine — this build places no real orders at all, for anybody. A student cannot lose money on it, which is the entire reason it can be handed to a class.

02The identity

Every student brings their own broker login.

Market data is broker-authenticated end to end, so a student needs their own Angel One, Dhan or Upstox account. That also means each one gets their own rate limit and their own tab-independent risk guards, instead of a class sharing one feed.

03The unit

One broker login is one account, one book, one seat.

Wallets, trade history and resets are scoped to the login they belong to and never merge. A student who attaches a second broker takes a second seat — the school bears it, and nothing about the first book changes.

Shipped

What the partner area does today, and nothing it does not.

Everything below is built and running. Curriculum, per-cohort policy — locking resets, pinning a starting wallet, turning Autopilot off — and instructor drill-down into a student's journal are designed and not yet built. They are named here rather than sold.

01

Cohorts

A cohort is a class. Create as many as you run, schedule them or leave them open-ended, and a student may sit in two without costing a second seat.

02

Invites that cost a seat

Paste a class list and every address gets a personal link that admits only them. Or mint one shareable link, capped, for the class group chat.

03

Seats you can count

An invite nobody has opened yet is still a seat committed — so the number on the screen is the number the server enforces, not an optimistic one.

04

A roster that reads

Who joined, who has been back, whose exits were levels they set and whose were panic. Attendance and habit, never a position.

ΔK

A reading agent that opens with the number, not with the summary.

Every other figure on the dashboard is counted. This one sentence is written — so it is labelled as written, sits behind its own mark, and is the only thing on the surface that is not a measurement.

01What it reads

Six numbers about the whole school.

How many enrolled, how many have traded, how many are still standing, the share of exits on plan, the share of entries opened near expiry, and the count of restarts. Nothing else leaves the server — a type check refuses anything that is not a finite number, so a name cannot reach it even by accident.

02When it writes

Hourly, and only while the market is open.

On the same NSE calendar the terminal reads, so a holiday is a holiday on both surfaces. And only when the figures have actually moved — a quiet Sunday keeps one sentence all day, with the timestamp that says when it was written.

03What it never does

Speak about one student, or about tomorrow.

A per-student sentence would mean sending one person’s book to a third party, and that is not on the list every student is shown before they take a seat. It is also barred from claiming or implying a return — this is a teaching tool, not a tipster.

The boundary

A school sees how a student is doing, never what they hold.

This is not a policy — it is the where clause. The same two lists are shown to every student before they take a seat, so a boundary you describe to a parent is one they can check against their own screen.

What a school sees
  • How many trades, and how often
  • Whether an exit was a level they set or a hand on the mouse
  • How close to expiry they open positions
  • Equity against the capital they started with
  • Days since they last sat down at it
What it never sees
  • A strike, a symbol or an expiry they hold
  • An entry price, or what a trade made
  • Any position open right now
  • Anything at all, once a course is 30 days finished
  • Anything at all about a student who never joined a class

Cost of trading

Statutory and broker charges paid this run — a cost every trade carries before its outcome is even in.

Trading P&L−₹3,200
Charges−₹1,850

Charges added 1,850 on top of a 3,200 loss from trading itself.

ΔK

58%of this run’s loss is charges alone — worth a look before assuming the market did all of it.

How they compare to their batch

The same strip the overview draws for a whole class, scoped to this student's own cohort — one dot among their own batch, picked out in white, not the school.

60%85%100%120%
Each dot is one student, placed by equity against the capital their current run opened with. The green line is break-even.

There is no sign-up form, on purpose. The first schools are onboarded directly — we attach partner access to an email address you give us, and your first sign-in binds it. If you already have access, the dashboard is one emailed code away.
